Here again
Once more I find myself in the fray,
Facing challenges at break of day.
Here again, wrestling with the dark,
But also holding onto hope's spark.
Another trial, another dive within,
Should I forgive? What's the sin?
I've learned that boundaries are a must,
In this world where madness does thrust.
They say some folks are a bit wild,
Impulsive, aggressive, temper not mild.
But in the heart of the storm, I pause and wonder,
How to guide them, without going under?
Some suggest I should just turn away,
But love and empathy refuse to sway.
I see beyond their rough facade,
To the wounds beneath, oh so raw and sad.
Every day, they battle to find peace,
Their hearts aching, seeking release.
They may be kin, or a cherished friend,
So I draw lines, yet still extend
A hand of support, a shoulder to lean,
In this human dance, we're all but a team.
Here again, I strive to understand,
The complexities of this human band.
